Halloween Aislee...oooo!!
Aislee's First Day!!!
This is Aislee Manara Gonda. She was born at 11:08pm on September 12, 2008 in Renown Medical Center, Reno, NV. She was 5 lbs 11 ozs. I'm sorry that it has taken so long to post, but our hands have been a little full.
This is Niccole's first time holding Aislee in her arms. Aislee cried or made noise the entire first two hours of her life. We were well aware that although she was born 3 weeks early, her lungs were well developed.
Another picture with Niccole holding her, I decided to use the flash for this one even though Aislee's eyes were very light sensitive.Saturday, August 30, 2008
Mark's part in all of this. August 29
Niccole has been worried, because if Aislee were to come we couldn't have taken her home becuase we didn't have a baby carseat/carrier yet. This is Mark putting together the carrier so that it looks cute enough.
This is the carrier on the stroller.
Once that was all done, then it was on to building the swing.
Aislee's cute little swing.

Niccole's Home!!! August 28
Niccole was released on the 28th, and we got home at 11pm. She is ordered to be on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy. She still feels great, and as of the 29th, her vitals have dramatically improved. The doctor said he had never seen someone improve so much in so little time. The Lord has helped her tremendously through her blessing and all of your prayers. Thanks!
Niccole was worried because we didn't have enough newborn clothes for Aislee. So we threw her a tiny shower of the essentials. This is showing how the singlet matches sizewise to her belly. As of the morning of the 29th, Aislee is about 5 lbs 12 oz according to the ultrasound measurements. That means even if Aislee comes now, she'll not be Preemie size. That has made us feel better about everything.

In the hospital August 27
As you can see, Niccole never really felt bad. Her Blood Pressure and other internal signs are her symptoms. It's a good thing that her routine checkup appointment found them all.
We were in this triage room for most of the day. Niccole's mom was here to take these pictures, she left not long after this because we were about to switch rooms (that's what we were told then at least).
Niccole taking her first bite of Hospital food. She then said, "Mmmm, I don't see why hospital food is spoken so poorly about." This meal was parmesian chicken. She later found some foods that weren't quite as tastey as her first, but her general opinion is that it's alright stuff.
This is the room that Niccole finally got moved to. It only took 4 or 5 hours for them to get the room cleaned. Apparently the housekeeping thought they'd cleaned it, and ignored the 5 phone calls they got from verious nurses saying that it wasn't, and needed to be cleaned. This room was much more comfortable for both Niccole and Mark.

See Aislee's Beautiful Face on Video
We got a dvd of the entire ultrasound, and you can see it by clicking the link:

I compressed the original quite a bit in order to get this up in a timely manner. The original's file size was 5.5 Gb, and the one I uploaded was 98 Mb...like I said, quite a bit, but I think that it's still pretty nice. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do.

It's a girl!!!!!
Announcing, Aislee Manara Gonda. We are having a girl!!
We had to wait almost 2 hours to get this shot, but the doctor said "that's about as clear as it gets" that it's a girl. We decided to keep her modest, and just show that there are no boy parts protruding there. It took so long, because she wasn't working with us at first. Her knees were tightly closed, and we couldn't get a clear look, so the doctor left to take care of another patient while we jiggled and laughed trying to get her to wake up and move. The wait was worth it though, and now we know and are excited to have a little girl.
Here is Aislee's profile, she has her hand to her cheek there.
Already, Aislee's a happy baby, and is smiling for her mommy. Even the doctor was surprised to see the smile.
This is her hand, but she is half clenching it. Earlier she had one finger extended and the rest closed in a full fist like she was poking the ultrasound thing that was poking her.
A very healthy spinal cord.

Finally, something that looks like a baby!
